Shannon + Tim: Rosewood Hotel Georgia

I was in love with Shannon + Tim the moment I met them…maybe it was because Tim insisted that we order a bottle of wine at the initial consultation – they knew the way to my heart before we even began haha! But in all seriousness, like Mona + Vern, Shannon + Tim were laid back about all the right things while still having a very specific vision for their magical, sparkly, all white, winter themed wedding at Rosewood Hotel Georgia.

Shannon + Tim’s vision was exciting because as you can see from our portfolio of weddings, our aesthetic is typically more along the lines of rustic. We had an opportunity to design up a very sophisticated and glamorous event that we couldn’t be more thrilled about the outcome of. Both the ceremony and reception felt very magical and grand, yet intimate and cozy in a cold January month – exactly what Shannon + Tim wanted for their guests. Granville Island Florist created the most stunning centerpieces which really brought together all of the other white, ivory + sparkly accents (Shannon’s key work was “bling”!). Anna Elizabeth Cakes also did an incredible job bringing to life an edible “bling” cake with sugar flower orchids that were easily mistaken for the real thing.

Shannon and Tim wowed their guests with a String Quartet, Caricaturist who drew every single guest throughout the evening and a Glow-Dancer performance. This wedding was an amazing start to 2013 and set the tone for the rest of our year. Huge congratulations to Shannon + Tim (and Shuz! their beloved dog I wanted to keep) as they welcomed their first baby boy just a few months ago! Photographs by Vasia Photography.

Kind words:

Thank you for doing an amazing job of everything on our wedding day. We appreciated all your attention to detail, help with Shuz and even delivering our champagne glasses!

Thanks again!”
